A stunning and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Verde Alpi marble and Ormolu lidded urns. Each urn is raised on a square marble base with a foliate Ormolu socle pedestal above a wrap around laurel band. Each of the Verde Alpi marble bodies displays a finely chased Ormolu central plaque with scenes of winged cherubs playing. At each side are handsome and intricately detailed Ormolu Satyr mounts with dolphins above showcasing twisted tails as handles. The removable marble lids are adorned with Ormolu acanthus leaves and acorn finials, and lift off to reveal the finished interior.

A Large and Important 19th Century Patinated Bronze Sculpture of “Appollon” holding a harp by CLÈMENT LÉOPOLD STEINER signed and stamped COLIN ET JOLLET & CIE - Fondeur Paris. The base is richly sculpted with ornate scrollwork and organic forms that resemble clouds, waves, or baroque decorative motifs, sitting on a polished large pink marble plinth.

A Beautiful 19th Century gilt bronze sculpture of Diana of Gabbi mounted on a green marble. The original work in white marble depicting the goddess, Artemis, was discovered in 1792 on the property of the Prince Borghese at Gabii near JRome. In 1807 the Prince sold the statue to Napoleon. It has resided in the collection of the Louvre since 1820.
