One is a fiber, the other is a weave.

🌿 Silk is a natural fiber produced by silkworms. It’s breathable, luxurious, and naturally temperature-regulating.

✨ Satin isn’t a fabric by itself—it’s a weaving technique that creates a smooth, glossy surface. Satin can be made from silk, polyester, rayon, acetate, or other fibers.

So yes… silk satin exists, but not all satin is silk!

Knowing the difference helps you choose the right fabric for your wardrobe, whether you’re looking for luxury, comfort, or an affordable satin finish.
