Here is the truth: Our true nature is bliss and we have simply forgot it is so due to disconnection within and so we spend our whole lives searching for lasting happiness outwardly which can only be transient.
How do we return within?
Every time we simply sit quietly, alone, in nature, in the company of an animal or loved one, not searching for a distraction, but just being, we start remembering.
There is a feeling within that when we slow down enough to touch, reminds us that we are already whole and complete just as we are. And that wholeness and bliss requires no external source in the form of achievements, presence, labels, and identities.
If we quieten down and connect deep enough regularly, we return to the realisation that perhaps that is why we still feel depleted, exhausted, numb, and restless, no matter how much we gather externally.
People, money, adventures, luxuries are wonderful experiences of life, but worthless without that root of connection within. It is like having a mobile phone and charger, without an electrical source for charging.
The more aware we become of it again, the more we carry our own happiness wherever we are and wherever we go. It is independent of the weather, the news, the changing circumstances, and every other external variable. It just always IS.
All we need to enjoy everything truly is to return to simply being who we already are.
Ancient practices have always shown us how: via stillness and presence through connection with our breath, awareness, and bodies. Imagine living life, with all its external wonders and detours, AND a continuous source of internal peace and happiness?
Let’s do this together. Slow down. Return within. Breathe in slowly, breathe out even slower, and just be.
