From a blank kitchen to one with character. 🖤🤎

The kitchen was where we decided to bring in a little more contrast — black paired with warm wood tones to create a space that feels modern, grounded and inviting.

The black keeps it sleek, while the wood adds warmth so the kitchen doesn’t feel too cold or heavy.

And throughout the rest of the home, we kept things softer and more neutral, with touches of grey and beige — including the wardrobes in the bedrooms.

Different tones, but they all come together to create a home that feels cohesive.

Designed for rental, but never designed to feel ordinary. ✨

When designing a rental home, the challenge is finding the right balance between style and practicality. The interior needs to be attractive enough to make a great first impression, while remaining functional and easy to maintain for everyday living.

This condo keeps things clean and understated with a solid, consistent colour palette throughout the home. The simplicity allows the space to feel cohesive without becoming too personal — giving future tenants the freedom to make it their own.

Our recently completed landed home for a young couple. See the difference a wardrobe makes. ✨

The master bedroom, 2nd room and 3rd room started with blank walls.

We kept the wardrobes in a neutral grey + beige palette, so they feel like part of the room rather than taking over the space.

Clean lines, practical storage and colours that will still look good years from now.

🇲🇾 RM38K JB Condo Makeover Completed!🏡

Today, we’re sharing one of our recently completed modern minimalist condo projects in Johor Bahru 🏡

This 3-bedroom unit belongs to a young couple who works in Singapore. They wanted a home that feels simple, warm and practical — a space they could truly relax in after a long day. 🤍

And we managed to complete the following renovation works within RM38K 👇

✅ Full house electrical wiring – Lighting points & power points
✅ Full house plaster ceiling + Light box in living room & master bedroom
✅ Kitchen wall & base cabinets + quartz countertop
✅ Full height fridge cabinet
✅ Full height dining display cabinet
✅ Wet kitchen wall & base cabinets + quartz countertop
✅ Full height master bedroom wardrobe
✅ Aluminium window for wet kitchen
✅ Full house lighting & ceiling fan installation

The homeowners chose a combination of light colours with subtle grey tones, creating a space that feels warm while maintaining a clean and sophisticated minimalist look.

🍽️ Dining Area
The dining display cabinet was specially requested by the homeowners.
The open shelving in the middle provides the perfect space for appliances such as an oven, rice cooker and microwave, while the closed cabinets above and below the open shelves provide plenty of storage.
Simple, practical and clutter-free. ✨

🛏️ Master Bedroom
We made full use of the space behind the master bedroom door by creating a wall-to-wall, full-height wardrobe.
The wardrobe blends seamlessly with the wall, creating a more streamlined look while maximising storage.
A small space can still feel spacious when every inch is properly planned. ✨

Rather than taking the cabinets all the way up, the proportions were thoughtfully considered to suit the owner's height, making the kitchen feel more approachable, comfortable and effortless to use.

As the day turns into evening, warm lighting brings a completely different mood to the home. The soft glow creates a cozy atmosphere — perfect for a quiet dinner, unwinding after work, or simply enjoying the comfort of having a space that's entirely your own. 🤎✨

For the master bedroom, neutral and earthy tones keep the wardrobe feeling calm and timeless. The understated palette adds warmth without overwhelming the room, creating a peaceful space to end the day.

I love how lighting can completely change the way we experience an interior. During the day, the space feels clean and modern.
