This is probably one of the biggest grails in our collection. ❤️
A Japanese Base Set Charizard from almost 30 years ago, personally signed by Arita Sensei himself. It's truly a piece of Pokémon history, and we're incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to own such a special card.
The artwork brings back so many childhood memories, so we wanted to create something worthy of it. We designed a custom extended art that stays true to the original illustration while adding a manga-inspired background and scenery to complete the story behind this iconic card.
To make the trio complete, we also created matching extended art for the Base Set Blastoise and Venusaur. We wanted all three legendary starters to share the same style and atmosphere, just like they belong together.
We're so happy with how everything turned out. Designing these pieces and collecting nostalgic vintage cards has always been more than just a hobby—it's our passion. Every project allows us to relive a small part of our childhood, and that's something truly special.
