Workshop Outline
In this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore the rich history and vibrant colors of natural indigo dye and intro of the plants that produced the dye.
Participants will then dive into the ancient Japanese art of Sekka Shibori - a technique that create beautiful snowflakes pattern. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, everyone will have a hands-on experience creating their own one of a kind ‘snowflakes’ using natural indigo dye with an option of
Option 1- one large cotton scarf 36”x86” and one customized linen tote bag with inner pocket. Fee RM280
Option 2- one pair customized linen noren 2x 45cmx130cm ( width adjustable to request + up 12cm no charge) )and one linen tote bag with inner pocket. Fee RM320
By the end of the workshop, participants will walk away with a deeper appreciation for natural dyes, your two creations and the knowledge and skills to continue exploring this fascinating craft.
