One soft mark. One soft breath. Let the mind soften 🖌️🫟🎨🖼️

Today my heart feels very full and grateful.

A sincere thank you to the Sunway International School Parents Council for inviting me to facilitate the “Ink & Intention” mindful art session.

As an art therapist, I always believe…
sometimes adults need a space to breathe too.
Not to perform.
Not to rush.
Not to be “strong” for everyone else.
But simply to pause… soften… and reconnect back to themselves.

This morning was such a beautiful reminder of that 🤍

Watching everyone slowly settle into the moment through mindful breathing, gentle lines, patterns, and quiet creativity was honestly so touching for me.

Sometimes healing doesn’t come from doing more.
Sometimes it comes from allowing ourselves to slow down enough to finally hear our own breath again.

I’m also grateful to co-facilitate alongside Mr. Dan Fisher, Head Programme of Canadian Elementary, for his meaningful sharing on “Behavioral Development by Age.”

Thank you again to every participant for your warm energy, openness, beautiful presence, and kind feedback.
You made the space feel safe, gentle, and deeply meaningful.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do —
using art not just to create something beautiful,
but to create a space where people can feel seen, grounded, and softly held again ❤️
