The carpentry is now 50% complete, and it’s always exciting to see every design detail gradually becoming reality.

This space is designed to be the heart of the home — a place where the homeowner can enjoy tea, host friends, and create meaningful conversations.

Every design decision was made with intention:
• A curved ceiling to soften the overall space.
• A combination of warm wood textures and textured plaster finishes for a calm, timeless atmosphere.
• Open shelving to display the homeowner’s tea collection and favourite pieces.
• A standing counter designed as a casual corner for guests to chat and connect.

Every project is more than just designing a beautiful space—it’s about creating a home that reflects the people living in it.

Designed to be more than just a library, this space serves as a multifunctional hub for the family.

During our design discussion, the client envisioned a warm and welcoming library where he could comfortably host and engage with his own clients. At the same time, the space also functions as a dedicated work and study area for his wife and daughter.

To accommodate their growing collection of books, we designed plenty of storage and open shelving throughout the space. The shelves also allow the client to showcase his collection of Chinese antiques, creating a library that is both functional and personal.
