On my son’s birthday, I honestly didn’t plan to cook . I just wanted to share cake, popcorn and drinks with the children and call it a day.
But that morning, I remembered I still had some leftover stew in the freezer. I told my husband to please buy me carrots, meat and green beans, and that was how I turned that leftover stew into this delicious pot of jollof rice 😋
Sometimes, the best meals come from what you already have at home.
