*THE BRIGHTFUL FUTURE OF ASACOSA IN A NUT SHELL*
I am very much sure that most of us as old students of ABUBAKAR GUMI SCIENCE AND ARTS COLLEGE, don’t really know what ASACOSA is all about. Not even known by many of the graduated students........This situation with unsatisfactory choices led to failure in many aspects/functions of the association such as attending ASACOSA annual meetings, participating in her activities and lots more. The whole story is a story of failure, and I don’t put blame on a single hand, Rather, I deduced out what exactly brought about the hitches on the ground. I got a problem, you also got one, the Ex-cos and the School also got one.......We all took the responsibility of the Failure so far.....To continue digging out the problems is not the best solution to the Dilemma.
I will start my writing by pin pointing the very essences behind the establishment of ASACOSA, through visionary and missionary states.

*VISION*

*A.* In the first place, this association was established to cater the doubtful and unclear demands and issues of the current students, recent old students and very old students of AGSAC.

1- *Current Students:* The student needs to be Coach, guide and counsel on where to study and what to study when they finished their secondary school studies. This will be done either Verbally through orientation, or by distributing pamphlets to them or any other means of communication.

2- *Recent Old Students:* Most of the difficulties emerge from this stage, It is a stage made up of the SS3 students going to 100 Level in the Universities, Polytechnics, C.O.Es and many different Advanced institutes.....To be precise, the students needs to be guide on the features/strategies of the institution they are heading to and where to make their Admission and registration activities upon arrival to campus.

3- *Very Old Students:* At this stage, Surely! there will be time where some of the Ex-students, been they further their studies or not, will come across some obstacles in life, not necessary obstacles. And perhaps, the solution to His/Her problems lays on the hand of one of us. I.e (The Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Politicians, Administrators E.T.C). Cos we all don't know what tomorrow will be. Remember, we’re all not meant to be Educative, Business tycoons, Executives in Government, Rich, Poor, Brilliant, Fabulous, Gorgeous and what have you. We all have our destinies within us and we probably need the help of others to accomplish them through the will of Allah......To be abridge, the importance of this stage cannot be accentuated. It’s very wide and huge.

*B.* To maintain the spirit of Brotherhood and Sisterhood within us.

*C.* To Help each other and remain one family forever, regardless of year of Graduation, Age, Qualification, Status, Rank E.T.C

These are few out of the many visions behind the Establishment of ASACOSA

*MISSION*

*A.* To instill a very cordial relationship between the Ex-students and the currents students of ABUBAKAR GUMI SCIENCE AND ARTS COLLEGE

*B.* To remind and educate ourselves about the power of schoolmate ship.

*C.* To give a helping hand to the less privileged among us mentally, financially, economically and Physically.

*D.* To train and teach ourselves Entrepreneurial skills on Essential productions. So as to be self dependent. Both for the Ex-students and Current students of the College.

These are few out of the many missions behind the Establishment of ASACOSA

*CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS*
Out of the outcomes of the meeting held on 03 of September 2017. During which the President gave a welcome speech . He point out challenges facing the association among which was financial burden as the driving problem, he urge the members to have the association in their mind because soon the association will start sending its members to deliver a carrier talk or guidance as well as orientation to AGSAC students, which will serve as the first psychological project to the college before the physical ones. Many issues were raised amongst was that of Hauwa Inuwa where she suggest that certain amount should be fixed as a compulsory tax to be given yearly by the members. The president responded to all the issues and after a serious debating finally N500 naira was accepted and agreed upon to be paid by each member yearly to the association account ..... At this juncture I will like to let you know that most of us vehemently refused to put our conscience up for sale,To take ASACOSA to the promising land, required promising members and leaders both in practical and administration capacity. Who are ready to hustle and Sacrifice there times and resources in the struggles of reviving ASACOSA......The dormancy of the association is not encouraging at all, and requires prompt and especially that of Financial sourcing.what is most fulfilling in life is to live an exemplary life of integrity. We can testify by looking at the most homage and eulogies pouring in for some few associations whether within Funtua town or outside the town, it's not because of their vaunted riches either in cash or property but because of their moral rectitude, dedication and the spirit in mind. we must refused to be bought because our conscience is and will forever remain priceless. let's all share what we possessed in material wealth which came via our God given talent, our creativity and sparkling brilliance. we have been hearing what people says or rather what we says about the dormancy of the association. come to think of it; after your demise, what will the world rue about you? will there be worries over who will fills the big shoes you will leave behind?. I decided to take my time and put this together because I have the feeling that things will work out Insha Allah
Finally, I will like to let you know that by given out your annual fees will give room for the implementation of huge and hundreds of projects, for your own benefit and that of others thank you all for your time

My plead to AGSAC administrators, my fellow ex-students (Asacosians) and students in the battle field is to heed my words with immediate effect.
I wonder in our association today, where it seems to be like everyone has got a price, but most of us vehemently refused to put our conscience up for sale, neither the screw-drivers nor the screws.
To take ASACOSAF to the promising land, required promising leaders in practical and administration capacity. Who are ready to hustle and Sacrifice there times in the
struggles of reviving ASACOSAF.... The dormancy of the association is not encouraging at all, and requires prompt and .
what is most fulfilling in life is to live an exemplary life of integrity. We can testify by looking at the most homage and eulogies pouring in for some few associations whether within Funtua town or outside the town, it's not because of their vaunted riches either in cash or property but because of their moral rectitude, dedication and the spirit in mind.
we must refused to be bought because our conscience is and will forever remain priceless. let's all share what we possessed in material wealth which came via our God given talent; our creativity and sparkling brilliance.
we have been hearing what people says or rather what we says about the dormancy of the association. come to think of it; after your demise, what will the world rue about you? will there be worries over who will fills the big shoes you will leave behind?.
I decided to take my time and put this together because I have seen potentials radiating on the future of the association as an icon of change, symbol of unity and epitome of hope.
I finally wish that the college and the association administrators will look into these dilemma to address, most especially, issues related to electing EXCOs from all quota. Though such issue was raised during the last annual meeting held at the college premises, but yet not a development was recorded.
I am sorry, that I am not criticizing the efforts of the administrators but just trying to give voice to the voiceless.
I remain my humble self Muhammad Rabiu of the third graduating set (2016 Set) of the college.

Sleep less. This is one of the best investments you can make to make your life more productive and rewarding. Most people do not need more than 6 hours to maintain an excellent state of health. Try getting up one hour earlier for 21 days and it will develop into a powerful habit. Remember, it is the quality not the quantity of sleep that is important. And just imagine having an extra 30 hours a month to spend on the things that are important to you.
