Throwback to my culinary school days!

This was when we learnt different knife cuts, including Julienne, Brunoise, large, medium and small dice, Chiffonade, and Mincing. 🔪

Honestly, cooking is not just about entering the kitchen and mixing ingredients. There are techniques to learn, skills to practise, and little details that make a difference.

I’m happy I got to learn these things because every new skill adds something to my culinary journey. And trust me, we are still learning! 😍❤️

MY CULINARY JOURNEY: LET’S TALK ABOUT KNIFE SKILLS!

One of the first things we learned in culinary school was knife skills, and honestly, it taught me that cooking goes beyond just knowing how to prepare delicious meals. ❤️

As a chef, knowing how to handle your knife properly is very important.

From learning the correct grip and different cutting techniques to maintaining your knives and preventing accidents in the kitchen, every detail matters.

Because before you become great at what you do, you must first learn the basics! 💯

This is one of the many lessons from my culinary journey, and I’m excited to share these beautiful learning moments with you all. 🥹❤️

Welcome to my culinary journey! 👩‍🍳🍽️

Sometimes, you wake up in the morning and you just want to eat something different. 😂❤️

Bread and tea? Not today.
Pap? Not today.

This morning, I said, let me pamper myself small. So I made chicken pepper soup with yam. 😋🍲

Tell me why this food looks like something I should be eating on a cold evening instead of breakfast! 😂😂

Abeg, am I the only one who can eat pepper soup in the morning, or do I have my people here? 🤣❤️
