So… Which Mattress is Right for You?

There is no “one hardness fits all.”

The best mattress depends on:
✨ Your body weight
✨ Your sleeping position
✨ Your comfort preference
✨ Your health needs

Side sleepers need something different from back sleepers. A growing teenager needs something different from an elderly adult.

Stop choosing based on “hard is better.”

Start choosing based on support and alignment.

If you’ve been waking up tired, stiff, or with waist pain, maybe it’s not stress… Maybe it’s your mattress.

Send us a message today let’s help you choose what truly supports you.

Happy New Week🌹

“How much is it?"
“Is it cheap?”
“Is it expensive?”

Those are usually the first questions we get.

But here’s the truth most people discover too late:
Cheap doesn’t always mean bad.
Expensive doesn’t always mean good.

Because your body doesn’t read price tags. But rather it responds to support.

A costly mattress that doesn’t suit your spine will still leave you aching.
A modest one that supports you well can change how you wake up.
Quality isn’t a number.
Comfort isn’t a status symbol.
And recovery isn’t determined by cost.

The real question you should be asking is simpler:
Will your body feel supported through the night?

And that solves it all.

“Maybe it’s just old age.”

We've heard this countless times.

That’s what many people say, when their back hurts, their neck stays stiff, or their body wakes up tired.

But here’s the quiet truth:
A lot of what we blame on age, is actually accumulated strain, poor support, repeated discomfort, and years of ignored signals.

Because pain doesn’t arrive one morning,
It builds
Your body isn’t simply “getting old”
It’s responding to how it has been held, supported, and used.

Many people believe:

“The harder the mattress, the better for your back.”

But is that really true? 🤔

Hardness is NOT the same thing as support.

A mattress can be:
📌 Very hard and still not support your body properly ❌
📌Soft and still give excellent spinal support ✅

What your body truly needs is proper alignment, not punishment.

Your mattress should:
🌹 Support your spine’s natural curve
🌹 Distribute your body weight evenly
🌹 Reduce pressure on your shoulders and hips

Back pain is not always from “softness.” Sometimes, it’s from poor support.

Tomorrow, we’ll explain the real difference between HARDNESS and SUPPORT.

Are you having a lower back pain?
Then this is for you😌

The best sleeping position for lower back pain is on your side with your knees slightly bent.

Putting a small pillow between your knees may take additional strain off your lower back.
Choose a pillow with a loft, or thickness, that matches the distance between your neck and your shoulder.
This allows your entire spine to stay in a neutral position, and that spinal alignment helps reduce neck and back pain.

At Evergreen, we provide you with quality pillows that support your neck. We are just a dm away😌

If you deal with heartburn or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), sleeping on your left side is usually the best position.

This position helps make it harder for stomach acid to reach the junction between the stomach and esophagus.

Conversely, sleeping on your right side or flat on your back can make GERD symptoms worse, as these positions make it easier for stomach acid to flow up into the esophagus.

You may sleep for 8 hours…but if the sleep quality is poor maybe caused by wrong posture, bad mattress, heat, discomfort — your body wakes up stressed instead of refreshed.

Bad sleep accumulates fatigue. Good sleep restores life.

So recovery is not about the number of hours alone…
It is about the quality of those hours.

Your sleeping position can also have effects on a range of health issues, including sleep apnea, acid reflux, and pain.

Sleeping on your side or stomach is typically best for sleep apnea (Sleep apnea is a condition that makes you stop breathing while you’re sleeping. This happens either because of blockage of your airway or because your brain doesn’t control your breathing as expected).

In contrast, sleeping on your back is the worst for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

When you lie on your back, gravity can pull your tongue and soft tissues around your throat into a position that blocks your breathing.

For some people, back sleeping is a major factor behind disrupted breathing. In fact, some people only have symptoms when they sleep on their backs.

It's important to know the best sleeping position for you if you have any health issues.
Mind you, this is an educational post, so always keep in touch with your doctor.
