This really resonates with me.
You never truly know what someone is capable of until you give them a chance. Sometimes all a person has is willingness, a positive mindset, and the hunger to learn but that’s often more than enough.
I’m especially grateful for the opportunities I had even back in university, being trusted with events, projects, and small responsibilities that helped shape my confidence and growth.
Beyond that, there have been so many other chances along the way mentors who believed in me, people who trusted me with responsibilities I was still figuring out, clients who took a chance on my work, and even the spaces where I was allowed to grow, make mistakes, and become better.
Those moments, big and small, have all played a part in shaping who I am and what I’ve built today.
That’s why I never take opportunities lightly and I always try to extend the same grace to others, because sometimes one chance is all it takes to change everything.
