Born in The Netherlands, I moved to the Scottish Highlands in 2005 when I felt city life was getting too busy. I love nature and wildlife and since I discovered needle felting I really enjoy trying to recreate animals in great detail using wool. I love blending sheep wool and other fibres to create the perfect texture and colour for the felted creatures. Building up the animals by adding and shaping wool takes a lot of time, but it is very rewarding.
