In the late 1970s, Massimo Vignelli described as “the most exciting, rewarding client of my professional career.” The rich partnership between Knoll, Massimo, and Lella Vignelli resulted in a graphics system for Knoll that continues to define the brand today. “Lella and Massimo Vignelli. A language of clarity,” highlights this relationship and presents a broader overview of the duo’s work and influence on the design practice.

Hosted by , with MillerKnoll as the main exhibition partner, the retrospective runs through September 6 and features historic works loaned from the MillerKnoll Archives.

During Milan Design Week, Geometriæ at explored seating as a perceptual experience rather than a purely functional object.

This project by developed a visual language in which form originates on paper — sketches, watercolors, studies of light and shadow — before taking physical shape in space. This transition is not only technical but conceptual: what begins as a two-dimensional trace retains a painterly memory even once it becomes an object.
Even the shadow was not treated as an external effect, but as something already embedded within the material itself.

Within this framework, geometry never defines a fixed point. It remains unstable, operating as a structure that shifts according to viewpoint and movement. The forms reveal themselves differently as one moves through the space, making perception an integral part of the project.

Geometriæ, a project by , redefines seating as a perceptual experience.
Each form originates on paper, drawn in pencil or watercolor, where light, shadow, and surfaces follow a painterly logic. These studies are then translated into jacquard-woven textiles, becoming fully realized three-dimensional objects.

“The shadow we perceive is not produced by light, but inscribed within the surfaces themselves.”
The result is a subtle balance between image and volume, where geometry and perception meet in an ambiguous, shifting space. Forms transform depending on the viewer’s perspective, inviting movement, exploration, and active engagement.

More than functional objects, these pieces narrate their own process of formation, questioning how we see, and imagine, space.

Within the Haspa headquarters project, designed by Kerstin Pietzsch and Susanne Leiser of PIETZSCH Architektur, space unfolds as an open system: reception, consultation areas, workspaces, and places for pause are articulated in a continuous sequence where function and perception engage in dialogue.

Moroso accompanies this transformation, becoming a flexible and narrative device: not isolated objects, but elements within an evolving landscape.
The interior thus becomes a cultural device, capable of interpreting the contemporary workplace as a fluid environment, moving away from rigid hierarchies and towards a more experiential dimension.
