Upahar Hastakala Upahar Hastakala is a Nepali handicraft established to preserve the traditional way of making Nepali handicrafts.

We are local women artisans from the Western region of Nepal in order to display our Nepalese traditional expertise and artistry. Our inventory features an extensive array of handicrafts produced from Thakal, Moonj, Gund, and residues from Bananas, and Maize. Our product portfolio includes; bags, baskets, mats, hats, trays, tea coasters, placemats, and other items. Our ultimate objective is to pro

mote a sustainable livelihood for our women artisans by also raising awareness and appreciation for traditional handicrafts providing aesthetic and value based products, ultimately empowering women and their craftsmanship.
