It still doesn’t feel real. Actually it’s only like 90% real. Just waiting on the last few ducks to line up. But… it’s 90% REAL 😳

AND it’s been quick. But it’s also PERFECT.

The perfect in between for what I need right now...but not so small I can’t keep growing.

I’m holding on to hope but haven’t cut down the tree in the yard yet.

If you’ve been following me for a while (and I’m talking A WHILE) you’ll know that this has been a dream of mine since I wandered my yard in 2021.

I feel like it’ll be an easy guess 👀

These either didn’t sell over a long period of time or had significant imperfections that meant they weren’t usable or safe to sell.

So hard to smash them, but I’d rather make something else cool than they end up in the bin. I’ve been thinking of investing in a tiny hand held drill for projects like this!

Now that they are all smashed in a box I’ll probably just think about ideas for a while!

I know kiwis think anything sweet pumpkin or non roast pumpkin is super weird. But I LOVE it. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin latte, bring it on!! I just needed an autumn mug to match the vibe. pumpkin spice latte is the BEST and I get it locally too!

Our persimmon tree is my favourite. It goes a busting bright orange right towards the end of autumn. It’s like the grand finalé of the season.

I only discovered that NASTY bucket at the end of my investigations.

It’s so gross. This is the ONE time I’m considering just binning the hole lot. The bucket is in its last days anyway and that clay looks like a health hazards

My dream last year this time was to have enough flowers in my garden to make my own posie for myself ever week 🥰

The flowers this summer in my garden have been such a source of joy. This being one of the last ones is bitter sweet for sure! Bring on the autumn leaves and cozy winter weather.

Lucky this vase didn’t sell at Christmas or I wouldn’t have had anything quite the right size for these flowers!

I find my flowers from my garden at home are too short stemmed for a lot of the more traditional vases. This one is just right!
