Summer is cherry 🍒 season!
We just finished a trip to Central Otago, and the freshly picked cherries were absolutely amazing!
We were like birds in the cherry orchard! 🤣
I’m happy to eat cherries straight away, but it’s also delicious—and a bit fancy—to enjoy them in a cake.
I’ve failed at sponge cake before, so this time I made a chiffon cake base instead.
