I'm Evie. A British born creative who calls Auckland, New Zealand home. I have a unique eye for the maximalist and eclectic. My work branches across the areas of art, design, styling, interiors, fashion and lifestyle, bringing fresh and exciting ideas to life with a distinctive style and approach. Combining skills in traditional production with a passion for communicating and social media, my proj

ects are unexpected and unforgettable. I regularly work both independently, and with brands, to create something completely different - from textile design, prop making and sourcing, interior design and styling, to content creation and communication. I'm about to launch my very first interiors ebook "Much" - an enthusiasts guide to maximalist interiors. Which packages up over a decade in the interiors industry and dispels any notion that you could ever be too much, because more is more! Head over to my website to learn more and sign up!

Team workshops don’t have to be beige!

After months of planning, prototyping and totally rethinking what a corporate workshop is, I’m opening the doors of my studio to brands and teams who want to make a glorious mess.

I believe so fully in the power of creativity and that as adults we have less and less opportunities to really indulge in it.

I’ve designed these workshops for brands, PR or teams that dare to be different. Everyone makes, everyone creates, everyone takes home something they actually want to keep. No one gets to say “I’m not creative” 😝.
(You can say it, but I WILL prove you wrong)

If you are (or know someone who is!) in pr, events or a workplace that wants do something cool this side of Christmas - send them my way or check out the link in bio for more info.

So, my therapist told me to acknowledge what I’m good at. 🙈😳

So, let’s try this by using someone else’s words 😅 (thanks Bee!) I’ve written a book that helps people to see their homes (and themselves) a little differently.

I’ve been shy to share the beautiful notes people have sent me about Much, I squirrel them away in my head like little acorns but I’m learning that joy deserves to be passed on.

This is the first in a little series I’m calling “Letters from Home” - thoughtful words and ripples felt from reading Much. This isn’t really about me because these triumphs in self-expression and confidence and having fun should be shared and celebrated.

If you’ve read Much, I’d love to hear what has stayed with you ❤️

Had the most wonderfully bookish weekend at the where I saw Kaliane Bradley (The Ministry of Time), Yael van der Wouden (The Safekeep), David Nicholls (You Are Here, Us, One Day, Starter for 10 etc!) and Catherine Chidgey (The Book of Guilt, The Axeman’s Carnival, Pet etc).

All books and authors that I hold in such high regard and they really didn’t disappoint. Totally charmed, inspired, mind-opened, hungry to read, motivated to create and satisfied by them all.

So often living at the bottom of the earth it can feel like we miss out on things but Akl writers fest is just the bees knees and I felt very lucky to get to go and listen.

I only just realise that this year is my first as an author myself ☺️ and that is a strange thought. I might be cooking up a little book event of my own though so watch this space (just going to manage expectations - it will not be writers fest size, scale or caliber 😆). But yay for books and writers and readers and book sellers!

Did you go? What were your highlights?

Each piece is $120 with $12 from each going to support . All pieces will go live and available for sale from 10am Saturday 26th October online at seedgallery.co.nz.

They’re also all going to be on view at .toitu on Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm so pop along and have a look! is hosting free family art workshop from 2-4 on Saturday too 😍

We’ve all used the same shape to create our artworks and it’s so much fun to see how differently each artist approaches this. It’s such a great way to grab an original piece of affordable art.
