ETHICAL LUXURY WITH SOUL

FLOW began in 2018 with the side, coffee and dining tables, handcrafted by Treology in Christchurch. Finalist in the Best Design Awards .

In 2019, we created the FLOW Credenza, Tall Cabinet and Headboard.

Each piece is handcrafted from rescued river Rimu (reclaimed, precious and ancient wood) and polished brass. The design is inspired by the braided rivers of the South Island of New Zealand.

These are timeless Collection by Design pieces, unique furniture with story, soul, craftsmanship and care for the environment.

Deep time meets living design.

The FLOWKINTSUGI Coffee Table is handcrafted from ancient swamp kauri, a timber preserved beneath the earth for thousands of years, carrying the memory of Aotearoa New Zealand in every grain.

Brass flows through the wood like braided rivers of light, inspired by the South Island’s shifting waterways and the philosophy of kintsugi, honouring the story of time, repair, movement and beauty.

Paired with the sculptural TUI Armchairs and REWAREWA Pairs wallpaper on the walls, the space becomes more than an interior. It becomes a room-defining moment: ancient material, contemporary form, pattern, craft, and ethical luxury made by human hands.

HOKEYPOKEY Daybed | FERN Mirror | LIQUIDEMBRACE Rug II

A room for rest, beauty and quiet wonder.

The HOKEYPOKEY Daybed brings softness, play and sculpture into a space. Its curved form feels generous and comforting, while the small brass details create moments of light, like little treasures across the surface.

Behind it, the FERN Mirror is hand carved by Bearwood Workshop in Wānaka from reclaimed wood. It carries the feeling of the New Zealand fern, strong, delicate, ancient and full of life. The mirror becomes more than a reflection. It becomes a sun, a symbol, and a piece of the land.

Below, the LIQUIDEMBRACE Rug II grounds the whole room. Its flowing lines feel like water, earth, maps and movement. It softens the space and gives the furniture a place to belong.

Motherhood is the deepest love I know.

It is 24 hours a day.
It is joy, guilt, sacrifice, worry, strength, softness, and unconditional love.

My children are my greatest love and my biggest reason.

They are also part of why I care so much about the future, about nature, beauty, ethical materials, and creating work that holds meaning.

LyZadie was born from this love too.
A love for the earth.
A love for craft.
A love for beauty.
A love for the world we leave behind.
