What I didn’t include in the video was the days spent worrying, doubting myself, crying, and wanting to cancel.

I had so many people express interest, and I personally reached out to every one of them, but unfortunately none could make the date.

A few days before the event, I decided to put myself out there and invite people through community groups and online. I went from zero attendees to a fully booked table.

Did I make a profit? No.

But looking back, it was one of the best things I could have done. It led to connections, friendships, and valuable lessons that have helped shape my business today.

I remember people saying, “Maybe lower the ticket price next time.” What many don’t see are the real costs, time, energy, and planning that go into creating an experience like this.

Sometimes the biggest return isn’t the money you make-it’s having the courage to start.
