Working with acrylics today, this hue has sat long enough bare without any added character. Building up the layers with different colours and texture, a taonga soon to be complete along with two others waiting their turn.

Painting is a lot of fun and also very relaxing for the mind. It's a great time to shut off from all the outside noise and just let the brush flow.

Kia ora e te whanau,
Just wanting to touch base on the recent taonga pākē I had sold. It was advertised as a very quick sale for ONLY $420, there were multiple reasons as to why I chose to do that but please know the actual price for these will be starting at $650 and an extra $10 per inch that's needed for bigger sizes (plus postage). The starting measurements will be 90cm H x 86cm W. (35in x 33in).

I am in the process of weaving more of these pākē in different colours, they will be posted online once ready to be received. I'm not taking on anymore orders/commissions at the moment but very grateful for the ongoing requests.
