LisaSarah Steel Designs LisaSarah is a small NZ design studio run by Auckland-based creative Lisa Turley. We specialise in original steel art, garden art, house numbers & custom signs.

Since 2007, we’ve created over 50,000 pieces for customers in NZ, Australia & beyond. lisa's art started purely by chance...

after an extensive search for something to spice up her newly landscaped garden, the designer was disappointed with what was available in the market at the time. with a desire to create, a growing passion for steel, together with interior design training, lisa launched her

own brand, "lisasarah" in 2007 - she hasn't looked back since. today, the brand continues to reflect lisa's love of steel; its simple timeless design ensures her art will fit with any home, garden or corporate setting for many years to come. lisa introduces at least two new ranges each year - her work is constantly evolving, reflecting whatever inspires her at the time whilst incorporating current trends. each piece in lisa's collection is designed by her and made from premium quality new zealand steel. steel is acknowledged as the world's most recycled material - it is, in fact 100% recyclable over and over again with little degradation.

I think this might be one of my favourite property signs.

The font is one of my favourites. The huia is one of my favourite birds 🥰

There’s something about the artistic shape of the huia that just works with steel.

This is off to a new build on Huia Road today - along with some custom made garden edging - I hope I get to see it installed x

I’m so indecisive 🤷‍♀️.

It took five years to buy a rug for the living room. Sometimes I overthink things so much that I end up doing nothing at all 🙈🤦‍♀️

Please tell me I’m not the only one...

Once they’re gone, they’re gone. 🖤

A few designs we’re not making again - so this is genuinely the last of them. Out of respect for the retailers who stock my work, this is something i very rarely do.

When they sell, that’s it. No restocks, no repeats.

Up to 40% off, including a one-of-a-kind charcoal hello (just the one), our large white feather hanging, and a handful of bold colour pieces that won’t come back around. Still the same NZ-made, hand-finished steel - just the end of the line for these particular ones.

Sometimes corten steel just looks so insanely fabulous that I have to share 🤩😜

Created for a coastal property, with matching pieces used across the space

… and corten only gets better with age x

These started life as a garden design idea.

The original set comes as three because, from a design perspective, odd numbers tend to create more depth and balance in a garden.

Then something cool happened.

Customers started seeing their families in them.

So over the years we’ve made extras to represent children, grandchildren and loved ones.

Some people buy them for the garden.
Some people buy them for the family 🤍

A little steel diary from this week.

Real signs. Real light. And Amanda and I wandering around the house carrying steel pieces trying to photograph them before the sun disappears.

In a world full of perfect renderings and ai interiors, I still think there’s something rather special about the real thing ❤️

A 1.4m tūī commission heading to a home on Waiheke Island.

Big pieces are always slightly terrifying to carry around the workshop 🙈
