If arranging flowers feels like a skill you just weren’t blessed with… I’ve got you 🌸😂 This took me 7 mins to make.

Meet Dolly 🩷🌸 Our vase with a built-in flower frog that does the hard work for you!

No fancy floristry skills, no complicated arranging, no standing there moving the same three stems around for 20 minutes wondering why it still looks wrong (just me? 😂).

Just pop in a few stems from the garden, let Dolly do her thing, and suddenly you’ve got yourself a little arrangement to be proud of.

What a week guys. School holidays and my busiest week of the year so far with orders and an event. I still can’t believe that this is my life and I get to do this as my job. I got a little nervous doing such a big event for vases and flowers but it was all great in the end and we got to go to a fabulous event- the plus side was getting such lovely feedback in person. I have met some really wonderful, kind and supportive people doing this over the last almost 2 years 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

If you’re new around here, hello! I’m Harriett, the human behind Flora & Thread.

🌸 I’m a mum of two, a lifelong garden lover, and someone who genuinely cannot be trusted to walk past a plant without stopping to inspect it.

Flora & Thread started from a love of growing flowers and wanting to make arranging them at home a little easier.

And the plot twist? It’s just little old me doing all of this. Designing, printing, packing orders, answering messages, creating content, growing flowers, trying to keep the house vaguely functioning ( still trying to figure out how a new robot vacuum can be justified after the 💩 incident) and occasionally wondering what on earth I’m doing 😂

I still have MASSIVE imposter syndrome and regularly wonder who on earth I am to be doing any of this. So having 14,000 of you here feels a little bit wild, and I’m incredibly grateful that you’re here.

I’m happiest in the garden, love a good bargain plant, will happily spend hours talking about how to grow something, and if you accidentally get me started on plants, flowers or gardening, please know that you’ve made a terrible mistake because I WILL NOT STOP. 😂

I love sharing the successes, the failures, the gardening tips, the flowers I’ve grown, and the slightly chaotic reality of trying to build a little business around something I love.

So whether you’re here for the gardening tips, the flowers, the vases, or just to watch me enthusiastically waffle about plants, welcome!
