After months of being at home, looking inward, outward and dealing with the realities and thoughts this lockdown has brought me, I’ve now found the energy to move forward.

With an eye to the future, how will it look? Maybe it will be better than the past? Will it be worse? Has the world changed forever?Will it be an exceptional world, a better world?

Ultimately it’s up to you (us individually) to determine how we perceive the future and how it will look for each of our families and loved ones.

Today was a bitter sweet day. We were given more ‘freedom’. An opportunity to shop, in-person. For us and our business it didn’t mean that. Unfortunately we still don’t have that ‘freedom’ to hold our in-person markets and showcase the faces and brands in a vibrant marketplace with smiling faces, human connection and laughs. This will happen, soon, sometime in the future. We will get there, to whatever there is, and we will laugh and the future will be brighter, brighter than it’s ever been before.

Today, we shopped local and loved it! Online and in-person, local as we love to and always will. We love supporting kiwis, local makers and feeling so damn good about it.

We hope you, however you chose to spend your day, had a brilliant day filled with love, hope and happiness.

We hope you choose to love life and see the bright future ahead.
