So much fun attending the opening night of the Zonta Ashburton Women’s Art Awards with this lovely crew last night.

A fantastic and diverse exhibition by the 24 Premier Award finalists, with huge congratulations to Miranda Parkes, this year’s winner.

I’m absolutely delighted to share that Mirror of the Bay has been selected as a finalist in the Zonta Ashburton Art Awards 🤍
This work is deeply rooted in my ongoing exploration of place, memory, and belonging — inspired by the quiet, reflective beauty of Banks Peninsula and the landscapes we carry within us.

To have this piece recognised among such a strong field of artists is genuinely humbling.

A heartfelt thank you to Zonta Ashburton and the judges for the selection, and to everyone who continues to support my work and creative journey. Grateful moments like this remind me why I paint.

The Orchard Remembers has found its forever home🩷💚🖤🤍

So delighted this little beauty is heading off as a birthday gift — chosen by a loving (and pretty cool) husband for his gorgeous, equally pretty cool wife. Thank you so much for choosing this work — it truly means a lot.

There’s always a quiet tug when a piece leaves the studio, especially one that holds so much softness, memory, and early-spring calm but knowing it’s going somewhere fabulous is the bomb!

Blue is having a moment 💙 — and it’s more than a trend.

From fashion to interiors, deep navy, inky indigo and moody blues are everywhere right now. Calm, confident, and quietly powerful.

I’ve always loved blue, and it’s woven through my work again and again. It grounds a piece, holds emotion, and feels both timeless and modern.

It’s been beautiful to see these blue works resonate so strongly — a colour people are clearly connecting with.

Blue isn’t new here. It’s just being noticed.

Morning Light captures the first glow of day as it sweeps across rolling hills and calm harbour waters. Soft golds, pasture greens, and gentle blues evoke the quiet beauty of morning in this New Zealand landscape - a piece that brings warmth, serenity, and a sense of place to any space.

My cottage garden is where colour and creativity meet — a place overflowing with blooms that inspire my art every day.
My love of flowers and floristry continue to shape my creative journey and recenting musing and fiddling with repetitive floral design. I have a huge bank of photographed florals that I have captured over the years so thinking of ways that I can use them🥰
