Why is servicing your heat pump important?
Heat Pump / Air Conditioning units are constantly cycling high volumes of air, over time, aerosols slip past the filters and become stuck inside the indoor unit. When in cooling mode, it becomes a damp area ideal for mould to grow. This often results in a restriction of airflow and contaminates the air being pushed out of the indoor unit into the air that we breathe. Which is why regular servicing of your unit is important.
We use a low-pressure cleaning system, combined with a specialised liquid to thoroughly clear out and disinfect everything that gets trapped and built up over time in both the indoor and outdoor units.
We will also give your system a compressive check using our 25-point maintenance checklist to ensure everything is in good working order.
Often we hear from customers after having this service completed how much better their heat pump preforms and how fresher the air smells.
