South Island Adventure

3 of us lads from Auckland traveled to Christchurch over the weekend to compete at Sliders Lounge in their 86 Matsuri event.

Myself managing to grab 2nd place, fellow adventurers Ynot Te Haara getting 4th and Justin Glavish taking home a trophy for best build.

Great to catch up with some old faces and meet some new ones too.

Appreciate the hospitality from the southern crew.

Big thanks to the organizers, judges, sponsors and for the food on Saturday.

Another event,
Waikato Champs held yesterday in Hamilton.
The track tested alot of people, it also took casualties 👀
Managed to leave with two trophies with TQ in both classes.

Thanks to organizers and competitors.
Well done to the podium placers.

Hopefully won't blow a gearbox next time 🤷

OMG!! What a weekend!!
HEXLab RC Drift Shop hosting their annual Matariki Madness event in Whangarei.
People came from far and wide to compete.
With friday being a practice day and Saturday and Sunday were comp days.

Up till all hours of the morning both nights testing and tuning, doing lap after lap after lap 😵‍💫
Great people, great banter, great food, great entertainment, and of all great driving 💯

Myself taking out both classes and both top qualifier in each class.

Big thanks to event organizers and those in the background 🙌 🙏

Both cars are very basic plastic ReveD RDX chassis's with some simple tuning. Got them to a comfortable point of predictably and precision.

See you at the next event in Hamilton in 2 weeks
