This corner was chomped on by a dog and missing lots of bits. Instead of it going to landfill It felt special to rebuild it up with hard filler which was very fulfilling. Love the opportunity to give a table its corner back.

Had to have these bentwood chairs. I’ve been obsessed ever since spent time in Paris and Melbourne. I got a deal as these will be a great pairing for my other passion project. The Oak table. I now know how to replace inserts for chairs. Time for sanding and repair fill….

Don’t give up on old pieces ✨This table was in a completely different mood.
Beautiful bones - if not a little worn by dog life.

Passed down through family and time it had history some kept, but needed a new direction for this clients home.

After some serious love same table new chapter.

Hope it passes the vibe check for classic and Timeless.

Oak dressed and bathing in sunlight. Such a beautiful wood. Reclaimed from an old man drobe that was beyond repair.

Sometimes I just want to see the finished result but as I move through the process I see how much I’m learning along the way and how much more I connect into myself through connection with the piece. What we thought was to be a simple cosmetic update ended up a more detailed restoration and I’m so glad it did. The journey is always the point.

I’m so glad our client decided to give updating a try.
With restoring its learning when you need to step back from certain damage let its history show.
When to lean in to restoring excessive damage that will hold the piece back from shining again.

This one would surprise you from where it’s come. Loved in the best way it could be by a dog, so I made sure some of that love stayed.

Sometimes my body shuts down completely. Ziggy & Bella Designs was born from a body that couldn’t survive the pace I once lived at.

I take many breaks from creating and restoring in my day.
My ability to cope with finding purpose and connection in this way relies on it. I go slow with care for the project and myself.
I use this as my peaceful meditation, it really helps. A small reset whenever you need it too 🧘‍♀️😌
