Hey everyone, well I had expected to be back in my little studio by now, but when I was having a good tidy up, I unfortunately found some mould at the bottom of one of my shelving units that was also on/in the carpet 😔 Luckily I knew exactly who to get hold of, the amazing team at ChemDry Taranaki 2008, they gave me some advice with how to initially deal with it, then came out and sprayed some magical mixture on the mouldy patch. Since the initial treatment, I have cleaned the carpet and they popped out again to apply more of their magic to the affected area. So it’s looking a whole lot better now. I’ve still got my dehumidifier running and will do so the rest of the week and weekend. Fingers crossed that I can be back in front of my machines next week.

Nothing like a personalised gift for Christmas. My lovely customer supplied the drink bottles for me to put names on for her nephews. A nice big font helps to make sure they grab the right ones and can be returned to their owner easily, as we all know kids are great at loosing things at school 🤦🏻‍♀️

I love seeing photos when my clients send them through to me, and I always ask if I can post them to my page, as I know some parents don’t post their children on social media for one reason or another. So, I can finally post my other little business I do, I’m an independent Scentsy consultant. I use the washer whiffs in all of my washing and the dryers disks to help with fragrance layering, including when I’m washing fabric before I start sewing. This gets rid of all the nasty stuff used during the manufacturing of the material and also pre shrinks it, bonus is you get amazing smelling custom made clothing 💜

One thing I really love doing is making gifts for when any friends of my kids have birthdays, especially when you are able to work with their parents to make it perfect. Miss M is stunning in baby blue, so I decided to make her a hoody with an adorable vinyl design of (one of my favourite dogs) a Rottweiler, they have one and he is just the most beautiful natured big furry boof head you could meet!
