Part 3 of my 'Growing Dahlias from Seed' series. (I've added links the Parts 1&2 in the comments 👇🏼)
Have you tried this yet and how are you going with it?
My seedlings are big enough to handle so I've potted them on to grow bigger, the ones from the plastic bag could be smaller than this before transplanting (I had to delay moving mine). Some growers like to pot on when they've only just germinated but I do worry about transplant shock when they're so small so I wait a while.

Just like heaven to be picking these beauts again to be honest 💗.
I don't quite feel ready for spring! I'm a chronic starter of projects and side quests. I blinked and the tulips were ready, I can't complain when they look like this though right!? 😍

So this happened today...!

I've been so busy with workshops that the tulips have snuck on me! I swear they were half the size yesterday 😅

Meet Verona, the most beautiful buttery yellow tulip and always the first to flower 😍

So it looks like I'll be pulling these up (in all shapes and colours) by the armful very soon, what do we think, keen for some fresh local blooms in your house?

They really are the ultimate spring flower, and they can last up to 2 weeks in the vase.

Better get cleaning some buckets 🪣 😊
