MORE snow yesterday!
So, unable to get on the road for a while, we just put on some Christmas golden oldies (there’s just something about those old songs!), made the fire, went outside for some fun and made pancakes.
Apparently more snow coming this week. You’ll be sick of me posting snow pics…😝

Another snow dump this morning❄️We were expecting half a metre (the thought of which was a bit daunting!), but got 8-10cm instead…perfect amount for a play in the snow before heading to preschool! Arlo now has high expectations of seeing a dancing snowman outside his bedroom window tonight😅

What an EPIC four days crossing the southern alps (via the Broderick pass) and rafting down the Landsborough river. Unmarked tracks, tenting in the middle of nowhere, dozens of river crossings, scrambling up rocks, level 4 rapids, alpine snowberries, rescuing a can of beer floating down the river, bloody good people and the most STUNNING scenery in the world. Highly recommended. Can’t wait for the next adventure!!!💪🏔️
