Calling all angels. This girl needs a home. Please read, this isn’t a routine rehome. It’s a rehome out of concern for her future, and a selfless desire to put her first.

This girl is loved, the centre of a universe, the best friend and companion of a tane who has serious health issues. Her name is Teawaroaotepo (Te Awa roa o te po) - meaning 'the long river of the night' ❤️.

His biggest fear, is something happening to him - which leaves her at risk. He has a chronic long term health condition. Death or hospitalisation is his reality. He lives in a state housing property, and worries that when his health complications incapacitate him - she will end up a streetcat, or euthanised.

He has limited family/friends, and he wants and needs to know his gorgeous girl finds a fabulous future. Despite the sadness that will come with her finding that new home.

She is microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, flea and wormed. She is kept inside overnight.

His attempts to rehome this girl who lights up his life, have been genuine - and not successful.

He needs to know where she goes, wants her to be loved dearly, and would like updates.

His original post is added as a comment, the heart in the rehome post speaks for itself. Well meaning commentary about rehome risks, people with ill intent etc - has meant he feels concerned that he may not find her a good home 🥹

We will help get this girl from her home in the Waikato, if a local option doesnt appear. Message us with details about the home on offer, and - Te Ao Māori (the Māori world) is important to him, so if a home is out there that can honour that, please let us know that in your message.

2-year-old male American Bulldog cross.
Lovely, lively cuddle monster. Totally adores people and food. Has not been dog, cat, chicken tested. Good with dog savvy children over 10 years. Need lots of mental stimulation, playtime, and walks (more lead training needed).
Requires 6ft fencing/gates.

Meet Jet. He's a lovely 10 month old heading dog.

Jet is a tried-to-be a working heading dog but he's just not interested in sheep or cattle but he has a beautiful nature, very gentle and would make an awesome pet. Has a sit, stay and call back, is used to children and great with other dogs. Best suited to a rural/lifestyle situation or an active loving family.
