The funnest boldest burgundy to work with for a Christchurch customer. Iā€™ll always cater to the neutral lovers (cos same) but itā€™s exciting to see colour finding its way back into our homes.

And the best part is art lets you experiment with richer shades without having to repaint a whole room.

Itā€™s no secret how much I love interiors. I remember the order of careers I ran through as a kid. It started with a dancer and then moved heavily to interior designer. In 2001 I lived out my ā€˜Changing roomsā€™ fantasy on my sisterā€™s bedroom proudly delivering her a lime green and blue wall makeover. Finished with one of my painted hand printā€™s stamped onto a canvas to top off the delivered look. She hated it. A love was born.

Iā€™m still just as inspired by interiors these days. How we move and gather in our spaces. The way they can make us feel. Creating artwork is so special to me. Knowing my work might become part of someoneā€™s everyday home will never stop feeling cool.
