We are gonna have sooooo much ridiculous creative fun at both of these sessions but I am particularly excited about the afternoon session as it's the first time being run and I have a mega-collection of beads and charms ready to unleash! I can not wait!!! ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜
🫶Younger kids can attend older age group sessions if a parent is staying to help them.
🫶If you are interested in the all day session but your child is too young, please message me as we could possibly do half day on this day for them.

When we recently cleaned up the old Art Lab under Whangaparaoa Hall for we added a gorgeous HOT PINK wall! It’s brought so much energy into the space and I realised that we actually now have a PINK WALL COMMUNITY(!) AraBosch Ceramic Tutor https://www.claylounge.nz/ The Hideout HBC https://www.facebook.com/groups/thehideouthbc Mini Makers Club, https://tinyurl.com/minimakersclubnz, Art with Heather, https://heathermatthewsartnz.wixsite.com/artcl.../artclasses and other new tutors coming v.soon, and that May would be an excellent time to join in raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer Foundation and do a variation on the Pink Breakfast Fundraiser.

What's the plan Stan!?

1. We would be so grateful if you would like to donate something to go into the prize pool. We will collect prizes all month long and do prize draws at the end of May - Every donation will have an entry into the prize raffle, plus we will sell tickets 🙂

2. Book into one of our adult PINK SIP n CRAFTS! - Come make a cute little heart fridge magnet to take away and have a catch up with the girls, a pink drink and snack and girly chats!

The wall that started it all

Early in Lockdown 2020 in New Zealand my kids and I got brave and drew a massive mural all over one of the boring white walls in their playroom. We went wild with pencil and I painted over the bits we wanted to keep in acrylic paint and we were amazed by how much FUN we were all having. All that free time we had and a license to enjoy being creative again unleashed a true hidden passion for illustrating that I have buried since becoming a parent to my twin babies who are now 7. It is also since becoming a parent that I’ve decided I can no longer do nothing about the one of the world’s most dirty secrets – the huge problem of the commercial s*xual exploitation of children / child s*x trafficking. This is why www.Ecpat.org.nz is the first charity we are highlighting and raising funds and for. Boopino is the name I have chosen for our brand / style of artwork. It’s from my nickname back in Uni days, Bettina Boopino! The artwork is fun and child like and full of love. It’s mainly me and my daughter Elsie, sometimes my son George gets involved, and sometimes just me. I told them I am the Creative Director – I had to set down some ground rules!

I love working with my kids and I’m excited to see where this takes us. Thank you for your support and interest in our journey. We will continue to raise funds and awareness through our art with your help.
