The event featured local delicacies, homegrown artists and artisans, and a wide selection of Baguio-made products from handcrafted accessories to innovative MSME creations.

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫!

The DTI Cordillera Administrative Region officially opens this year's run of the Impakabsat Regional Trade Fair: Only the Best from the Cordilleras at the Carousel Court, Festival Mall, Alabang.
In his welcome message, DTI CAR Regional Director Atty. Raymond G. Panhon emphasized the importance of supporting MSMEs and local artists, especially this Christmas season. "This year’s theme, “Colors and Creations,” beautifully captures the vibrant and diverse stories behind every Cordilleran product. Our “colors” reflect our heritage, woven, carved, brewed, and crafted across generations. Our “creations” highlight the exceptional talent and innovation of our artisans and entrepreneurs who transform simple materials into treasures that proudly represent our region," the regional Trade Chief added.

Department of Migrant Workers Assistant Secretary Francis Ron C. de Guzman also gave his message of support, noting this year's run as groundbreaking, as it puts emphasis on the products of DMW-assisted migrant workers.

The Festival Mall-Alabang representative, Ms. Denise
Lagayan reiterated the support of the company to MSMEs by providing a platform and venue to market products. The Festival Mall has been the home of the IMPAKABSAT for 13 years.
In her Keynote Message, Assistant Secretary of the DTI Regional Operations Group, Dr. Leonila Baluyut, talked about the different programs and services of the DTI that aim to improve and develop the products of MSMEs.

Cordillera talents Ms. Ingrid Payaket and the Kalinga Banga Queens also shared the richness of Cordillera's cultural heritage and talent through creative performances.

Regional line agencies, LGUs, and private partners were also present during the event, in full support of the region's MSME exhibitors.

This year marks the 33rd run of the IMPAKABSAT, making it one of the longest-running regional trade fairs in the country. It will run until December 7, 2025.

Yesterday, November 28th, Community Artscape: Dugad Mi brought its fifth-year celebration of community stories to Irisan Barangay Hall. Elders, community leaders, and young participants gathered for a morning of visual and performing arts inspired by narratives collected through earlier storytelling and theatre workshops.

Through collaborative effort between artists and the community, Community Artscape: Dugad Mi transforms shared memories into visual and performing expressions, celebrating the rich identities, traditions, and lived experiences that shape Baguio’s communities.
