This post should be posted during Holy Week 2025 (Easter Sunday specifically) to appreciate a humble father and his unwavering love for his son, but I’ve been really busy kaya ngayon lang nakapag post.
You didn’t just give your son what he asked for, you gave him something he’ll always carry through the years— a Leroy scriber alongside Leroy templates.
You saved-up, made sacrifices, and went out of your way just to get your son a Leroy Lettering Set. Most people would see it as just a tool. But as I seller, I see it as a symbol of your love, support, and quiet faith in what you want your son to become. (and to fulfill your college dream or the "what if" that you have for yourself). That lettering set isn’t just a piece of Architectural tool—it’s a reminder that someone is always in your son’s corner to back him up in his dream. And that is YOU.
It still humbles me to know that there are fathers who would go the extra mile. 🥹
In this world full of egocentric paternal instinct, culture and reality, you showed-up with your overflowing love for your son. I really appreciate the conversation that we’ve had and the questions you have for me in regards to the Architectural and Drafting Tools that I have both for sale and the pieces I chose to keep. Thank you for having the same passion that I have with these archival tools and thank you for making me realize that there are fathers like you who encourages and pushes your son to his dreams by providing the things your son didn’t asked for but has been provided through your hard work as a Safety Officer III.
I’ve learned a lot with our conversation and has been deeply moved with your story and the realizations that I had during that time as a young adult who's trying to navigate the world, career-wise and self-growth.
