Have you noticed that I change my cover photo? Because I'm really excited to share my Version of Baked Sushi 🤗. It is quick and easy to make!
BAKED SMOKED SPICY SALMON AND KANI SUSHI MUFFIN 🍣
16- 20 servings
Ingredients:
4 Nori Sheets
3 1/2 cooked Japanese rice, cooled
Salmon:
2 lb smoked Salmon ( Cubed Small)
3 Tbs sesame oil
2 Tbs low sodium light soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbs Honey
3 scallions diced
1/2 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, chilli powder, paprika
Salt to taste
3 Kani (Crab Stick) shredded or cubed small
Spicy Mayo:
1/2 C Kewpie Mayo
3 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce
1 1/2 Honey
Toppings:
1/2 Tbsp Toasted Black Sesame Seeds
Method:
🍣 First thing first , preheat your oven to 400°F or 204°C . Grab a scissor and cut your nori sheets into equal squares.
🍣 In a bowl, toss your cubed Salmon, Crab Stick, sesame oil, soy sauce, diced scallions, spices and salt. Set aside and Marinate for 30 minutes. In a separate bowl, season rice with salt and mirin.
🍣 Transfer a prepared each nori sheet into a muffin pan, add about 1 Spoonful of rice and spread out gently.Pushing down rice gently to the center and edges.
🍣 Grab out 1 Tbsp Salmon and Kani mixture and fill each muffin slot.
🍣 Transfer the pan inside the oven and baked for 10- 13 mins.
🍣 Remove from the pan , allow to cool slightly and drizzle of spicy mayo and sprinkle black sesame seed.
