Meet MOCHI 🐾

Affectionately known by her family as the “gentlest lola,” Mochi came into Aki’s life as a gift from a friend, but she soon became a gift to everyone around her.

She was welcomed into the family to keep their grieving dog, Star, company after he lost his mom. In time, the two found comfort in each other, and when a corgi later joined the family, Mochi welcomed him just as warmly, and they became the best of friends.

Mochi loved bananas, never turned down treats, and was always remembered for her sweet, gentle smile.. a smile that filled their home with warmth for 15 wonderful years. 🤍

Meet GABBY 🐾

Born in 2004, Gabby was the only puppy who survived his litter, a little fighter from the very beginning. At just a year old, he became seriously ill, but his fur mom, Patricia, nursed him back to health. He recovered, and later became the family’s extra chonky boy after everyone unknowingly spoiled him with 4 to 5 meals a day.

Gabby was also her Papa’s favorite. While everyone else was at school or work, the two kept each other company. He was the calmest dog, rarely barking except at one particular spot in the house or garden, something that always left the family wondering. He snored loudly, loved homemade steak, enjoyed being carried downstairs, and never missed his weekly slice of Goldilocks chiffon cake.

By beautiful coincidence, today also marks the 16th anniversary of Gabby’s passing, and it’s on this very day that he found his way back home through FURBOUND. 🤍
