Keep Soil Moist – Forget-me-nots love moist soil. Never allow to dry out. Watering with a soaking hose or drip irrigation make the watering process simple.

💐How to make your fresh cut flowers lasts longer💐

I love getting flowers! The bouquet shown above is a gift from my husband!💕

Want the secret to keeping your bouquets fresh for weeks after your flowers arrive? Try these DIY Cut Flower Food Recipes & Tips for homemade flower food solutions. 
Before placing your flowers in the vase, be sure to trim the stems while holding under running water. This will prevent air bubbles in the stems and help the flowers to absorb more moisture.When you fill the vase, make sure the cut stems are covered by 3-4 inches of the prepared water.

Diy flower food recipe solution:
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon household bleach
2 teaspoons lemon (or lime) juice
1 quart of lukewarm water

Instructions:
Fill a container with 1 qt. of warm water.
Add 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. chlorine bleach and 2 tsp. lemon or lime juice to the warm water.
Place a lid on the container, and shake.
Pour into flower vase.

These three ingredients will nourish your flowers, keep their stems open, and kill bacteria that could prematurely age them. You’ll be amazed at how long your arrangement stays fresh!Change the water and flower food solution every 3-4 days or if the water starts looking cloudy.
Throw out any dead or shedding flowers. Re-cut stems and add more of the food solution.
