๐ช๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ง๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐๐! ๐
When this competition was first announced, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of it. I formed a team, started making plans, and imagined how we'd bring our ideas to life.
Then, one by one, my teammates backed out.
I genuinely thought that was the end of the story.
But five days before the deadline, I couldn't ignore the feeling that I still had to try.
So I did.
With only ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐ฒ days left, I found a new team, convinced a property owner to rent out their wall, borrowed money to buy our materials, and somehow committed to finishing a mural in just ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ daysโa project most people would never attempt on such short notice.
We worked, hoping we'd finish in time.
Then, thankfully, the deadline was extended, giving us just enough time to complete and polish the mural.
Maybe it was luck.
Maybe it was timing.
Or maybe my gut was right all along.
So I stopped waiting for the perfect moment and simply chose to begin.
As the youngest team in a competition filled with adults, we didn't have the most experience. We didn't have the biggest budget, the largest network, or the easiest path.
But we had something just as importantโwe were willing to try.
And out of more than 220 entries from across the Philippines, we're officially part of the Top 100 finalists.
Looking back, I'm grateful I listened to that quiet feeling telling me not to give up before I had even started.
