Back with a greater ambition and sharper curation, an experimental creative play showcased at Manila FAME (), the latest in Filipino contemporary design.

Ten thousand circles made not for perfection, but for persistence. Each stitch traces the memory of hands, each connection a quiet conversation between the material and the maker. From distance, the pieces read as a single object; up close, they reveal craftsmanship that holds them together.

Day 1 of 2025

Presenting '10,000 Circles', a mediation on continuity. With each circle cut and sewn in rhythm, it forms a chain that drapes and breathes like fabric in motion— a soft architecture of patience. Every piece is built from recurrence—speaking to time, process, and the beauty that emerges from repetition.

An invitation to delve inward—through gradual transformation of textures, reveals one's inner self. From what is seen to what is felt, color flows outward, freely expressed on canvas.

"The fabric (wall structure) and the cavern (the paper) were the elements of this exhibition design. We wanted to create a structure that would neatly showcase the products and yet accentuate with an organic composition using paper, in different depths to create a texturized effect inspired in rocks or caves. It was a design entirely made with kraft paper and discarded textile fabric from Divisoria.”

In Filipino traditions, Ylang-Ylang is not just a flower; it's a fragrant blessing woven into cultural tapestry of meaning. The intricate leis are exchanged as tokens of goodwill and best wishes that signifies purity of union and a promise of enduring love.

Introducing Ylang-Ylang

Designed by Jim Zarate Torres, the Ylang-Ylang lighting piece is inspired by nature and culture. Made of handmolded thermoplastic, it highlights a breathtaking floral motif that is manually executed through heating and hand-moulding technique.

With each piece made by hand, every petal has its own distinctive, irregular detail that gives the form an authentic, hancrafted touch. The collection is a statement piece that embodies sculptural beauty and unique craftsmanship through a work of art.
