JHMC RECOGNIZED FOR HUMANITARIAN SERVICE AND DISASTER RELIEF

Following its dedicated community mobilization for landslide victims in Barangay Guisad Surong last August 11, 2026, the John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) received a Certificate of Recognition from the City Government of Baguio.

The award was personally accepted by JHMC President and CEO Manjit Singh Reandi, and formally presented by Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong together with Hon. Jose M. Molintas, in the presence of the Honorable City Councilors Hon. Vladimir D. Cayabas, Hon. Joel A. Alangsab, Hon. Van Oliver M. Dicang, Hon. Paolo Raynor E. Salvosa, Hon. Yuri K. Weygan, Hon. Fred L. Bagbagen, and Hon. Elmer O. Datuin.

The commendation highlights the corporation’s profound benevolence and selfless humanitarian service during the severe impacts of Typhoon Maymay and the enhanced Habagat.

Through the timely delivery of emergency goods, supported by a dedicated team of security providers and anonymous stakeholders, JHMC extended vital assistance to displaced families. This act of solidarity underscores the corporation’s enduring commitment to public welfare and its steadfast role as a channel of recovery and compassion for Baguio City in times of crisis.

OVER 4.1 MILLION TOURISTS VISIT CAMP JOHN HAY IN FIRST HALF OF 2026

Camp John Hay continues to welcome a growing number of visitors, with tourist arrivals showing consistent growth throughout the first half of 2026.

From January to June, the Camp recorded a total of 4,149,053 visitors, with the second quarter alone contributing 2,079,304 arrivals, a clear sign of sustained interest from travelers between April and June.

This upward trend highlights Camp John Hay’s lasting charm as one of Northern Luzon’s premier destinations, where guests can enjoy pine‑lined landscapes, heritage sites, and modern leisure experiences right in the heart of Baguio City.

As visitor numbers continue to climb, Camp John Hay reaffirms its role as a cornerstone of Baguio’s tourism economy.

JHMC UPHOLDS COMPLIANCE AND STRENGTHENS STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS

The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), through its Special Economic Zone Administration Department (SEZAD), continues to uphold strict adherence to the rules and regulations governing the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ). Stakeholders have consistently demonstrated high regard for compliance, reflecting a strong and cooperative relationship with JHMC.

For the second quarter, SEZAD processed a total of 2,193 Zone Access and Movement Clearances (ZAMCs), which include Gate Clearances, Local Purchase Clearances, and Bring-In and Bring-Out Clearances. These ensure that all movements within Camp John Hay are properly authorized and aligned with prevailing laws and regulations. Compared with the same period in CY 2025, the total number of ZAMCs processed increased from 1,345 to 2,193, representing a growth of 63.05%. This notable rise underscores JHMC’s sustained commitment to maintaining order, security, and operational efficiency within the Zone.
