Simple Filipino Chicken Adobo Recipe

🧾 Ingredients

500 g chicken (cut into pieces)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup water
4 cloves garlic (crushed)
2 bay leaves
1 tsp black peppercorns
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp sugar (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken
Mix chicken, soy sauce, and garlic in a bowl.
Let it marinate for 20–30 minutes.

2️⃣ Sauté
Heat oil in a pan.
Lightly sauté the garlic and marinated chicken for 2–3 minutes.

3️⃣ Add Liquids
Add the marinade, vinegar, water, bay leaves, and peppercorns.

4️⃣ Simmer
Let it boil, then lower the heat.
Simmer for 20–30 minutes until the chicken is tender.

5️⃣ Taste & Finish
Add sugar if you want a slightly sweet taste.
Let the sauce reduce until slightly thick.

6️⃣ Serve
Serve hot with steamed rice 🍚.

✅Ingredients

Filling (Monggo):
1 cup mung beans, boiled until soft
½ cup sugar (adjust to your taste)
2 tbsp oil or butter
½ tsp vanilla (optional)

Dough:
1 cup glutinous rice flour
¼ cup sugar
½ cup warm water (add little by little)

✅What you’ll need:
500 g ground pork or chicken (you can also mix pork and shrimp)
1 cup carrots, finely chopped or sliced thin
1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
1 small onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper

✅ Ingredients:
500g pork belly (sliced)
1 onion (chopped)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup coconut cream
5–7 pcs chili (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp shrimp paste (bagoong)
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for cooking

✅ Instructions:
🍳 Sauté garlic, onion, and shrimp paste in oil until fragrant.
🐖 Add pork and cook until lightly browned.
🥥 Pour in coconut milk, simmer until pork is tender.

📌 Pork Giniling with Quail Eggs

✅ Ingredients:
500g ground pork
1 small onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 small carrot (diced)
1 small potato (diced)
1 cup tomato sauce
½ cup green peas
10 pcs quail eggs (boiled & peeled)
1 tbsp soy sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for cooking

✅ Instructions:
🍳 Sauté garlic & onion until fragrant.
🐖 Add ground pork, cook until lightly browned.
🥕 Add carrots, potatoes & soy sauce. Stir well.
🍅 Pour tomato sauce, simmer for 10–15 mins until veggies are soft.
🥚 Add green peas & quail eggs. Season with salt & pepper.

📌 Cheesy Garlic Butter Beef Bowtie Pasta

✅ Ingredients:
250g bowtie pasta (farfalle)
200g ground beef
4 cloves garlic (minced)
3 tbsp butter
½ cup all-purpose cream
½ cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
Salt & pepper to taste
Parsley for garnish (optional)

✅ Instructions:
🍝 Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
🍳 In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
🥩 Add ground beef, cook until browned.
🧀 Stir in cream and cheese, mix until creamy.
🥣 Add cooked pasta, toss well to coat.
🌿 Season with salt & pepper, top with parsley.

📌 Beef & Onion Stir Fry

✅ Ingredients:

300g beef (thinly sliced)
2 onions (sliced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp cornstarch (dissolved in 2 tbsp water)
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for cooking

✅ Instructions:

🔪 Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
🍳 Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic & onion until soft and fragrant.
🥩 Add beef, cook quickly on high heat until no longer pink.
🥢 Stir in soy sauce & oyster sauce, mix until beef is coated.
🌟 Add cornstarch slurry, stir until sauce thickens slightly.
🔥 Season with salt & pepper, give a final quick toss.

500g fish fillet (cut into cubes)
1 cup flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 egg + ½ cup water (batter)
1 tsp chili powder (or flakes)
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for frying

✅ Instructions:

🥣 Season fish with salt, pepper & chili.
🍳 Dip in batter, coat with flour mix.
🔥 Deep fry until golden & crispy.
🌶️ Serve with spicy mayo or chili garlic dip.
