Creamy Seafood Crab Paste Pasta 🦀🍝
by Teenaskitchen
Tonight’s dinner turned into one of those “sarap ulitin” kind of meals — creamy, garlicky, rich, and loaded with seafood in every bite. This Creamy Seafood Crab Paste Pasta is easy to make but tastes like something straight out of a restaurant.
Made with crab paste, shrimp, green shell mussels, garlic, cream, and a touch of chili for that perfect rich-but-balanced bite. Finished with parmesan and fresh basil on top for that extra flavor and aroma. 🤍
What you need:
• 700g spaghetti
• 6–8 tbsp cooked crab paste (aligue)
• 250–300g cooked shrimp
• 500–700g green shell mussels
• 8–10 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 medium red onion, chopped
• 2 small tomatoes, diced
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1–2 tsp chili flakes
• 250ml all-purpose cream
• 1/2 cup shrimp broth
• 1/4 cup mussel broth
• 1/4–1/2 cup pasta water
• 1/2 cup parmesan
• Fresh basil
• Black pepper to taste
How to cook:
Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil and butter. Add tomatoes and chili flakes, then gently cook the crab paste for 1–2 minutes. Pour in shrimp broth, mussel broth, and cream, then simmer until smooth. Add shrimp and mussels, toss in the cooked spaghetti, then finish with parmesan, basil, and black pepper.
Creamy, flavorful, and packed with seafood — simple ingredients, but full-on comfort in one bowl. Shared with neighbors!
