اکثر دوست احباب محبت میں کہہ دیتے ہیں کہ: "یار! بس ایک چھوٹا سا نقشہ ہی تو بنانا ہے، ذرا فری میں لائنیں کھینچ دو!"
سچ تو یہ ہے کہ وہ صرف "لائنیں" نہیں ہوتیں، بلکہ وہ آپ کے لاکھوں کروڑوں روپے کے سرمائے کی حفاظت اور آپ کے مستقبل کے آرام کا منصوبہ ہوتا ہے۔ نقشہ فری نہ ہونے کی چند اہم وجوہات یہ ہیں:
وقت اور محنت: ایک بہترین نقشہ بنانے میں کئی گھنٹے (اور بعض اوقات دن) کی ذہنی مشقت صرف ہوتی ہے۔
ٹیکنیکل مہارت: اس میں وینٹیلیشن، روشنی کا رخ، سٹرکچر کی مضبوطی اور جگہ کا بہترین استعمال شامل ہوتا ہے۔ یہ "لائنیں" برسوں کی پڑھائی اور تجربے کے بعد آتی ہیں۔

دوستو! جس طرح ہم ڈاکٹر، وکیل یا کسی دکان دار سے "فری" کی امید نہیں رکھتے، اسی طرح آرکیٹیکٹ یا ڈیزائنر کی محنت کی بھی قدر کرنی چاہیے۔ ایک اچھا نقشہ آپ کے گھر کی تعمیراتی لاگت میں بچت کرواتا ہے، اسے ضائع نہیں کرتا۔
اگر آپ گھر بنانا چاہ رہے ہیں، تو اسے ایک "خرچہ" نہیں بلکہ "بہترین سرمایہ کاری" سمجھ کر پروفیشنل ڈیزائن بنوائیں۔

A modern barndominium (Gillbee House) designed for a client in Australia 🇦🇺.
This project blends contemporary minimalism with rustic barn-inspired architecture, creating a clean yet warm living environment. The design features a series of pitched roof forms that not only enhance the visual character but also improve ventilation and spatial volume inside.
The façade is defined by a balanced combination of smooth plastered walls and natural timber elements, giving it a timeless and elegant appeal. The extended front veranda with exposed wooden framing adds depth, shading, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces—perfect for the Australian lifestyle.
Large windows are strategically placed to maximize natural light while maintaining privacy, and the landscape design complements the structure with soft greenery and organic textures.
