MAJLIS | ARCHITECTURE OF HOSPITALITY
Majlis is designed around hospitality. Low seating along the walls keeps the centre open for movement and serving, while natural plaster, timber, woven ceilings, rugs and cushions bring warmth, texture and comfort to the space.
In contemporary interiors, these traditional elements can be adapted through modern furniture, integrated lighting and climate control while keeping the majlis functional, welcoming and connected to its cultural roots.
