THE HEART OF THE HOME.
For this residence in F-7/1, the kitchen was never meant to stand apart from the living area.
It was designed to bring it together.
Every decision from the warmth of the oak and the movement of veined stone to the softened lighting and considered storage, was shaped around how the family wanted to live: gathering, pausing, cooking, talking, and spending time together.
The kitchen becomes more than a place to prepare a meal.
The island becomes a place to gather.
The dining table becomes a place to linger.
And the living area naturally finds its rhythm around them.
There is intention in the materiality, but also restraint. Function is woven quietly into the design, allowing the space to feel warm, effortless and lived-in.
Because sometimes, designing a home is less about deciding what a room should be and more about understanding what will happen there.
