So some time ago I broke my little finger of the right hand. I'm right handed, and I do a LOT of stuff with my hands - I'm not just an artist, I paint n do polymer clay yes, but I'm also a game developer by profession and need my hand not just for typing but also writing - oh a LOT OF writing!! Then there's playing games, crocheting, and some other activities I keep myself overly bz in..... My finger hurt like hell when it broke, obviously, but it hurts even now after it's healed, more when I write than doing anything else.
After searching over-extensively online for something that could protect my ulnar side and failing to find anything at all - there are a million things for the thumb, but it's like everyone has forgotten about the other 4 fingers... - I decided to make sthg on my own. And voila! The result, a writing rest support. I'm sure this can be adopted for other fingers with a little adjustment.
It's amazing and my finger no longer hurts when writing - like, AT ALL. A happy project.
