BEEF BIHARI BOTI:π₯©π₯©βοΈβοΈ
TO PREPARE BIHARI MASALA:
2 tbsp chana
2 tsp poppy seeds
2 tsp coriander seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 stick cinnamon
4 cloves
15 black peppercorns
4 green cardamom
1 black cardamom
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 small stick mace
1 Kashmiri red chili, cut into pieces
METHOD:
On a tawa, dry roast all the ingredients lightly. In a grinder, add all the ingredients and make a powder.
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
2 kg boneless beef pieces
3 tsp salt, or to taste
3 tbsp papaya paste
3 tbsp onion paste
3 tbsp yogurt
3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp green chili paste
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup mustard oil + extra for brushing
METHOD:
In a large bowl, add beef pieces, salt, papaya paste, onion paste, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste, chili powder, lemon juice, mustard oil, and the prepared Bihari masala. Mix all ingredients very well, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
Thread the marinated beef onto skewers and place the skewers on burning charcoal. Turn the skewers often so that they don't burn. Brush with mustard oil when done. Serve hot with paratha chutney, yogurt, and salad. Enjoy!
